From their base near Aberdeen, Struan Dalgleish Arboriculture delivers a comprehensive range of arboricultural consultant services to clients in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and throughout Scotland.

Clients include private home owners, land owners, facility managers, local authorities, developers, builders, architects, planners and landscape architects.

We have particularly well developed and cost effective systems for digital data collection, mapping and tree management reporting.

The techniques developed bring benefits to the accurate recording of tree survey data and include the use of CAD, GIS, aerial photography and GPS mapping.

We are trained and highly experienced in the visual inspection of trees and the use of modern decay detection equipment allowing informed decisions to be made with regard to tree management.

Professional Experience

After graduating with an Honours Degree in Forestry from Aberdeen University in 1995 Struan Dalgleish has worked extensively as an Arboriculturalist both in the UK and overseas.

In 2003 he established Struan Dalgleish Arboriculture, providing the highest standard of specialist independent advice in all aspects of arboriculture, amenity tree management and urban forestry.

He is a Chartered Forester (MICFor), Chartered environmentalist (CEnv), Professional member of the Arboricultural Association (M.Arbor.A), and an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist (Cert. Arb.).
